Hamza Khalifi

Hamza Khalifi is a mining engineer and PhD candidate at Mohammed VIPolytechnic University, Morocco. His research focuses on mine planning,particularly the integrated optimization of cut-off grades, extractionsequencing, and exploration activities, with extensions to medium-termplanning. Currently, he is investigating the application of PartiallyObservable Markov Decision Processes (POMDPs) to manage geologicaluncertainty and enhance decision-making in mining projects.
