Gary Agnew

Gary Agnew is CEO and Co-Founder of Ideon Technologies and a member of the Mineral-X Advisory Council at Stanford University. At Ideon, Gary is leading the transformation of subsurface exploration through advanced sensor technologies and data analytics. Under his leadership, the company launched the REVEAL™ subsurface intelligence platform, moving from R&D to commercialization, and secured strategic partnerships with leading global mining companies.

Gary brings a forward-looking vision and deep operational experience to Mineral-X’s mission of integrating next-generation tools and data science into the search for critical minerals. His work exemplifies how industry innovation can unlock more sustainable and precise exploration strategies to support the energy transition.

Before founding Ideon, Gary spent over two decades in the mining equipment, technology, and services (METS) sector, including senior leadership roles at Finning International. He is recognized for building high-performing teams and bringing transformative technologies to the mining industry.
